Kentucky Derby Futures
Kentucky Derby Future Wagers allow players to place wagers on outcomes for the Kentucky Derby before the official field is set.
Kentucky Derby Futures present an opportunity to bet early in the season on horses that have potential to be contenders in the Kentucky Derby, but haven’t necessarily qualified for the race yet. The entrants for the race are not known when future bets are made, as a result these kinds of bets typically offer larger payouts than standard race day wagers.
Future Pools
Typically futures wagering is available in four separate periods, each open for only a short time. Pool 1 is open from 11/22/18 – 11/25/18, Pool 2 from 2/8/19 – 2/10/19, Pool 3 from 3/8/19 – 310/19 and Pool 4 from 4/5/19 – 4/7/19.
